Natalie is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Georgia. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega and her Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Natalie works with individuals navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family dynamics, and life transitions. Her goal is to help clients build healthier patterns of thinking and behavior to enhance their overall well-being.
With over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in educational settings, Natalie brings a deep understanding of how life experiences shape us. This background continues to influence her therapeutic approach, as she helps clients rediscover their strengths and create new, positive narratives on their path toward healing. In the past year, she transitioned into private practice, where she now focuses on outpatient mental health care.
Natalie integrates a variety of techniques tailored to each client's unique needs, including strengths-based practices, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), goal setting, and conflict resolution. She values the importance of meeting clients where they are, offering support with compassion, respect, and a commitment to understanding each person’s unique journey.
Natalie is working under the supervision of Audra Hawkins, Ed.S., NCC, LPC, CPCS.
Outside of her work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, two dogs, and a cat in Clarkesville, GA.
